How Kerry Logistics expands its global presence

According to the list of the top 100 global logistics companies in 2024 published by Transport Topics, an authoritative magazine in the logistics industry, Kerry Logistics ranks 11th among global air freight forwarders and 9th among global sea freight forwarders; and in the top 25 global freight forwarders ranking released by A&A, Kerry Logistics is the world’s 10th largest freight forwarder. This series of global industry rankings is enough to illustrate Kerry Logistics’ strength in the global market.

As a leader in international third-party logistics services, Kerry Logistics was established in 1991 and is one of the earliest international freight forwarders established in China. Looking back at its development history, Kerry Logistics started with warehouse business. In 2000, it began to focus on global business development. Acquisition and merger holding became one of the means to expand new business. Global mergers and acquisitions rapidly expanded the coverage of the business network. Subsequently, the expansion of Kerry Logistics’ international freight forwarding business was arranged along the transfer of trade between regions at different stages, and the logistics operation business was mainly carried out in the Asia region for continuous logistics facility construction.
