On November 28, Air France-KLM is negotiating to acquire up to 20% of Spanish Air Europe, after International Airlines Group (IAG)’s plan to acquire Air Europe was aborted due to regulatory opposition. It is reported that the deal will be worth more than 100 million euros (US$105 million) and does not require approval from EU regulators.
